A beautifully engineered device, the IPV D2 Box Mod has been built with the comfort of the user in mind, the shape and size has been ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the user’s hand for all day vaping. Lightweight and compact, its rounded edges give a modest yet classy look and one that exudes excellence and style. The device features a crystal clear OLED screen and placed above are the activation and adjustment buttons. The screen itself is easy to navigate and displays the settings of the device such as voltage or wattage, temperature, battery life, and atomizer resistance.

The IPV D2 Box Mod is a variable voltage and wattage device that gives the user a great range of control over their vaping. The IPV D2 is adjustable from 5 watts to a powerful 75 watts or with voltage the user can dial in from 1 volt to 8 volts. Due to its great adjustable range, the IPV D2 is quite a versatile device and can be used with sub ohm atomizers, or regular ohm atomizers. If the user prefers to build their own coils, this box mod can handle atomizer resistances from 0.2 – 3.0 ohms with Kanthal coils. If the user would like to utilize the temperature control mode, the IPV D2 can handle ohm ratings of 0.05 – 0.3 ohms with either Pure Nickel or Titanium coils.

The temperature control mode of the IPV D2 is one of the best features of this revolutionary sub ohm capable box mod. This device utilizes the YiHi SX130H Chip, which is one of the most advanced processors currently available on the vaping scene. In Temperature Control Mode, the IPV D2 has settings from 200°F - 580°F. This chip allows the mod to use Ni-200 Pure Nickel or Titanium wires on atomizers, which gives the user the ability to set and adjust the actual temperature of the coils. Temperature control and limiting offers the user flavorful, smooth vape and one that is virtually guarded from dry and burned hits.

The IPV D2 utilizes a removeable 18650 battery (not included), which can be easily installed or removed via the mod’s sliding battery door. This mod also features an internal charging capability that allows the battery inside the device to charge via a USB capable and without the need of an external battery charger. Installing Battery

To install a battery into your new Pioneer4You IPV D2 Box Mod:

  • Grip the body of the device in one hand and the Battery Bay cover with the other.
  • The Battery Bay cover is held on with a spring loaded ball bearing so you just need to pull firmly downward on the battery bay cover and it will slide off. Pull the cover downward in the direction of the bottom of the device where the charge port is. 
  • Insert your Lavacell battery into the battery bay following the + and - markings on the inside of the battery bay. 
  • Place the Battery Bay cover back on the battery. 
  • Make sure the cover is on firmly. 
  • You are now ready to use your device. 

Once your battery is installed following the above directions, you may need to turn your device on. To turn your device on please press the Fire Button 5 times fast. Once the device is turned on your will be greeted by the IPV welcome screen then your device will turn on and ready to use. 

 

Charging your IPV D2 Box Mod

You have 2 options to charge your IPV D2. You can either remove your Lavacell battery from the device and charge it via the Nitcore Charger, or you can use the on-board charging option. 

External charging:

  • remove battery from device
  • Follow charging instructions for the Nitcore Charger.

Internal charging:

  • When the battery level display indicates that the battery needs charging, plug one end of the supplied USB charging cable into your device. 
  • Plug the other end of the charging cable into a USB power source (a computer usb port or usb wall plug). 
  • Leave the device plugged in until the battery indicator displays fully charged. 
  • Once the battery is fully charged unplug the USB cable form the device.  (Never leave a battery charging unattended)

While charging your device with the USB cable you can still use your IPV D2 Box Mod. 

 

Turning your device on/off

Turn the device on:

  • Press the Fire Button 5 times fast. 
  • wait for welcome screen to cycle through. 
  • Your device is now on and ready to be used/setup.

Turn off the device:

  • Press the Fire Button 5 times fast.
  • You will be brought to the Mode Menu.
  • When the menu shows "System Off", press the "+" button. 
  • The device will power off. 

 

Setting your IPV D2 to Power/Watt Mode

With your device turned on:

  • Press the fire button 5 times fast to enter the Mode Menu.
  • Click the Fire Button to cycle through the Mode Menu till you see "Power Mode"
  • Press the "+" button till Power Mode is displayed.
  • Press the Fire Button to set the device to Power/Watts.
  • It will then display "Exit On".
  • Press the "+" to exit the Mode Menu.

Setting your IPV D2 to Joule/Temp Control Mode

With your device turned on:

  • Press the fire button 5 times fast to enter the Mode Menu.
  • Click the Fire Button to cycle through the Mode Menu till you see "Power Mode"
  • Press the "+" button till Joule Mode is displayed.
  • Press the Fire Button to set the device to Joule/Temp Control Mode.
  • It will then display either "F" or "C".
  • Press the "+" to change the temp reading units you want. 
  • Press the Fire Button to set the temp units.
  • It will then display the temp limit. Use the "+" and "-" to set your Max Temp.
  • Press the Fire Button to set your Max Temp.
  • You will then be presented with coil Choices.
  1. Ti01
  2. Ni200
  • Press the "+" to cycle through the options. Pick the coil type you are using.
  • Press the Fire button to select the coil type.
  • It will then display "Exit On".
  • Press the "+" to exit the Mode Menu.

Screw your atomizer onto your device and make sure that your device is reading your atomizer

Important  do not skip this step:

  • Press the "+" and the "-" buttons simultaneously to set resistance. Setting the resistance is an essential step when using the Temp Control Function. Before setting resistance, please make sure the coil is at normal temp.

 

Adjusting Wattage or Joule

 When in the normal standby screen, you can adjust the wattage/joules by pressing the "+" or "-" buttons. The longer you hold the button down the faster it will change. 

 

Locking/Unlocking the IPV D2 

Locking:

Press and hold the Fire Button and the "+" button at the same time till the screen reads "LOCK"

Now when the button is pressed the screen will read "Pleaseunlock" and will not fire your device. 

Unlocking:

Follow the same steps as above for locking to unlock the device. The screen will read "UNLOCK" when the device is unlocked.
