A variable voltage and wattage device, the iStick TC40W can be adjusted up to an impressive 40 watts of vaping power. Due to this versatile power feature and its accommodating spring-loaded 510-connection pin, this mod can be used with a wide range of regular tanks, clearomizers and sub ohm tanks.

Powering on/off the iStick TC 40w

Powering on:

Press the Fire Button 5 times fast to turn your device on. The screen will come on letting you know the device is now ready for use. 

Powering off:

Press the Fire Button 5 times fast to turn your device off. The screen will turn off letting you know the device is now powered down.. 

 

Turning on/off Stealth Mode

Turning on Stealth Mode:

With the device turned on, press and hold the Fire Button and the Down Adjustment Button at the same time for 5 seconds. The screen will display "Stealth On". Once you see that message you can release the buttons. 

Your device is now in stealth mode and will function normally but the screen will not turn on when any button is pressed. 

Turning off Stealth Mode:

With the device turned on, press and hold the Fire Button and the Down Adjustment Button at the same time for 5 seconds. The screen will display "Stealth Off". 

Stealth Mode is now off and the screen will light up when any button is pressed. 

 

Adjustment Button locking/unlocking

Locking the Adjustment Buttons: 

With the device turned on, press and hold the Up and Down Adjustment Buttons at the same time for 5 seconds. 

The screen will display "LOCK". Your adjustments buttons are now locked. Pressed either the Up or Down Buttons will not change your settings and the screen will display LOCK when they are pressed. 

Unlocking the Adjustment Buttons: 

With the device turned on, press and hold the Up and Down Adjustment Buttons at the same time for 5 seconds.

The screen will display "UNLOCK". Your adjustments buttons are now unlocked. Pressing either of the buttons will now adjust your settings. 

 

Rotating the display

You can rotate the display 180 degrees, this way the screen is the right direction for either right of left handed users. 

With the device OFF, press and hold the UP and DOWN Adjustment Buttons for 5 seconds. The screen will light up and show the screen rotation. Repeating the process will rotate the screen 180 degrees. 

Once the screen is set to the rotation you desire, turn the device on and you are ready to vape. 

 

Switch between Temp Control and Variable Wattage

With the device turned on, press and hold the Menu Button for 5 seconds. This will switch from your current power option to the other. Repeating the process will change it back. 

In VW mode:

The output wattage can be adjusted from 1w to 40w by pressing the up and down adjustment buttons. 

In TC mode:

Output wattage:

In TC-Ni mode, maxium output wattage is 40w

Adjust Temp:

In TC-Ni modetemp can be adjusted from 100-315 °C or 200-600 °F by pressing the up or down adjustment buttons. Holding the button down will increase the rate at which the settings change. 

Lock/Unlock atomizer resistance:

In TC-Ni mode, press and hold the Fire Button and the Up Button for 2 seconds, a padlock symbol will appear over the ohms (Ω) symbol When locked. 

Please be sure to lock the atomizer base resistance when the atomizer coil is cool (at room temp). 

In Locked Mode when you remove the atomizer the battery can retain the locked base resistance, although the coil resistance may increase due to the rise of temp. 

In Unlocked Mode, When you remove a coil and put a new/same coil back on, the device may ask you "New Coil UP Same Down" If a new coil press Up if the same coil press Down. 

Please be sure to unlock the resistance when changing the atomizer to a new one with a different resistance. 

 

Charging your iStick TC 40w

The battery power indicator on the screen will flash when the remaining power level is less than 10%. It can be charged with the USB cable through the USB port on the bottom of the device. It will take about 3.5 hours to get a full charge via a 1A wall adapter. The battery indicator will keep flashing during charging and the screen will go out when fully charged.
